Administration and Volunteer Coordinator (10 hours per week)

Calgary Silver Linings Foundation’s vision is “To bridge gaps in accessibility and care of eating disorders
in Alberta”. Silver Linings was established in June 2014 to work collaboratively to create a world-class
residential eating disorder treatment centre in Alberta, the only one of its kind.
Silver Linings is looking for a new member of our small yet dynamic team to take on the role of
Administration and Volunteer Coordinator, either in an employment relationship or as a contractor for
10 hours per week.
We are looking for an administrative whiz that has strong interpersonal skills and thrives in a fast paced,
growing, entrepreneurial and evolving environment. You love making things run smoothly and are
energized working with our tremendous volunteer team.
As Administration & Volunteer Coordinator your scope of work will include:
Coordinating all donor communication and maintaining all relevant data for our many
Engage with Silver Linings potential volunteers and active volunteers who enable and enhance
the work of Silver Linings
Actively promote the work of Silver Linings within the community, especially during Eating Disorders Awareness Week (EDAW)
Coordinate logistics for Silver Linings events and support groups
Coordinate the printing of all Silver Linings collateral and oversee supply management
Our new team member will have experience in administration, with some relevant post secondary
education. You will have worked with volunteers and have solid interpersonal and relationship building
skills. Familiarity with eating disorders and mental health related experience would be an asset.
The 10 hours per week will be flexible to accommodate Silver Linings workload, events and community
