Eating disorders often distort self-perception, impacting self-worth and body image. Even as behaviors improve, emotional effects can linger. Our Body Image & Self-Acceptance programs aim to break these patterns and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

Body Image: With guided support and evidence-based tools, we address the emotional roots of body image struggles—reducing shame, encouraging self-acceptance, and shifting from control to care. These programs support healing at any stage.

Self-Acceptance: Build deeper self-understanding through reflection and shared experience. Peer mentors share real recovery journeys—offering hope, resilience, and reminders that healing is powerful, personal, and ongoing.

Our Skills-Based Approaches programs are designed to help you build practical tools for navigating emotions, managing urges, and supporting recovery. Many people with eating disorders use disordered behaviors to cope with overwhelming or confusing feelings. Whether you tend to shut down, feel out of control, or struggle to identify your emotions, these programs offer a structured, supportive space to build emotional awareness and regulation. Drawing from evidence-based practices like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), you’ll learn coping skills that promote stability, reduce distress, and strengthen your recovery. Through guided exercises and real-life applications, we focus on shifting from reactive patterns to intentional responses. These skills not only support day-to-day resilience, but also lay the groundwork for long-term emotional and behavioural change.
